The Keypad CMU is the most advanced FONET Crew Member Unit. The device allows to set up calls in the system, to allocate radio stations, to set up a rebroadcast, to control data flow etc. Current settings and possible submenu options are shown as icons on its display. With the the icons an user can access any user-specified functionalities including selection of phone numbers, IP addressing, menu navigation and radio set up.
